PHH Back-to-School Drive Helps Local Kids Start the Year Strong!

Sep 25, 2018

As the 2018 school year began, some kids in South Jersey headed into the classroom with backpacks and supplies provided by generous PHH employees. From August 2 through August 17, our employees filled 3 large bins to the brim with donations, including new backpacks, crayons, pens, pencils, glue sticks, notebooks, rulers, folders, scissors, and other much-needed supplies, which were then donated to the Center for Family Services “Project Backpack” initiative. The Center for Family Services is headquartered in Camden, and has office locations and programs at more than 50 spots in our region.

Emily Flemming, Community Relations Coordinator at the Center for Family Services, said, “Thank you so much for your work with Project Backpack! It's only because of community members like you that we can provide backpacks and school supplies to over 2,000 children and teens in our programs.”

Thank you to everyone who participated for helping the young people of our community start the school year confident and ready to learn!
