In December, PHH Mortgage employees got into the holiday spirit by donating two large bins of toys to the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department’s annual toy drive. The drive, now in its 23rd year, solicits donations of toys for underprivileged children in our county, to help make each child’s holiday a happy and memorable one. Donated toys are distributed between various local social service agencies throughout Burlington County, including the Division of Youth and Family Services, Providence House Shelter, and Foster and Adoptive Family Services, as well as being given to individual families in need.
Sheriff Jean E. Stanfield thanked PHH and other donors for “placing smiles on the faces of children that might have gone without toys and gifts for the holiday season,” saying, “our success in assisting those in need is because of your caring and participation.” We look forward to contributing to the toy drive again in 2019.
