PHH’s Thanksgiving Food Drive Provides Meals for South Jersey Residents in Need

PHH Mortgage held its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive benefitting the Food Bank of South Jersey from November 1 through November 16. This longstanding PHH tradition is the company’s biggest charitable drive of the year. PHH is proud to support the Food Bank’s efforts to end hunger in the community, and especially thankful to be able to assist them at this important time of year.

This year’s drive brought in 541 boxes of food. Each box, filled by generous employees, holds items necessary to create a Thanksgiving meal for a family of four – from stuffing and vegetables to cranberry sauce and pie fixings. Employees also donated 615 lbs. of miscellaneous food items to be used by the Food Bank throughout the winter. The Food Bank’s Director of Strategic Partnerships, Lavinia Awosanya, said, “We’re incredibly grateful for this generous donation from PHH Mortgage. These dinner boxes will go a long way in providing a healthy and memorable Thanksgiving meal for families across South Jersey.”
