For the 5th consecutive year, PHH Mortgage proudly sponsored the annual American Cancer Society Hope Gala, a black tie event that provides an opportunity to spread the word about cancer prevention and detection and to raise funds for life-saving research and critical services to cancer patients and their families. On April 8, over 340 distinguished guests came to network, bid on spectacular silent auction items, celebrate the cancer survivors in their lives, and dance the night away while supporting this vital charitable organization. PHH’s 2016 Hope Gala fundraising total was $53,500, and since the inaugural Hope Gala in 2012 our company has raised nearly $400,000 for this event. We are proud of and grateful for our employees and partners who have given their time and resources to make that achievement possible. The American Cancer Society is the largest single recipient of charitable contributions from PHH and the primary beneficiary of our employee volunteer efforts, which include the Philadelphia Bike-A-Thon and the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. For more than 100 years, the American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. Their tireless efforts to advance cancer research and translate findings into action have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. Cancer death rates in the United States have declined 20% since the early 1990s, and PHH is honored to be able to join the American Cancer Society in helping to finish the fight. Giving back to the communities where we live and work is one of PHH’s Core Values, and our company takes its commitment to social responsibility seriously. Thank you again to our employees, partners and all who accepted our invitation to support the Society at the Hope Gala and every day through your donations and volunteer efforts.
